Display and Ride

One hour ride south to Conway Village and a new much longer ride North and West toward Crawford Notch. Very popular in the summer months. They sometimes run the steam engines, but more often they now run their stock of diesel engines. So call ahead.

Most of the locomotives and stock is stored outside, where you can wander around. There is a small roundhouse where they work on locomotives and stock, usually not open to the public. There is a working turntable. Plenty of caboose's are on display, although most are private and are living quarters for some of the volunteer staff.

The station is part museum and store.

Look for local model railroad club openings on weekends in the goods shed. Very nice layout, modeling the Conway railroad.
